Dr. Amelio is chairman and chief executive officer of Acquicor Technology, Inc. (an emerging information and technology company), Newport Beach, California, and has served in this capacity since July 2005. He has also been senior partner of Sienna Ventures (a privately-held venture capital firm), Sausalito, California, since April 2001. Dr. Amelio was elected as a director of AT&T Inc. in February 2001 and had previously served as an advisory director of AT&T Inc. from April 1997 to February 2001. He served as a director of Pacific Telesis Group from 1995 until the company was acquired by AT&T Inc. in 1997. He is a member of the Audit Committee and the Human Resources Committee.
