A specialist in strategic and creative marketing, Gina Portman joined Echo Bridge Home Entertainment in spring 2007 from Bauer Martinez Entertainment, where she served as vice president, home entertainment. Her role included developing and implementing comprehensive marketing programs for all home video launches; managing Universal Music Group's marketing tactics for retailers, distributors and consumers; and overseeing production and delivery of all titles. Prior to Bauer Martinez, Gina served as executive director of marketing and advertising at Hallmark Home Entertainment, where she was responsible for a range of in-house and acquired brands that also included Hallmark Hall Of Fame, Binney & Smith, Ralph Edwards Films, HIT Entertainment, Showtime Entertainment and Nu Image. Her position required her to wear a number of hats; over the course of eight years, she managed advertising, publicity, consumer and retail promotions, packaging, collateral materials, and sales support, as well as delivery and production of all titles. Prior to Hallmark, Gina was creative director for two independent film/video companies: Live Entertainment (1993-1995) and Epic Productions (1991-1993). As creative director, she managed campaigns for theatrical, rental and sell-through releases, including the design of key art, collaterals, POP, print and TV spots, and trailers. She began her career as an event coordinator at Marjoe Gortner Entertainment. |
