Glenn E. Ferencz is a partner who has been practicing law for over 25 years. Glenn's practice is concentrated primarily in federal, state and local income tax matters.
Glenn represents clients on a variety of federal, state and local tax matters and associated legal issues including formation of business entities, financings, private equity, restructurings, acquisitions, dispositions and partnership transactions, as well as the application of the tax laws to day-to-day business operations and tax planning opportunities. He has also represented clients on matters before the Internal Revenue Service and various state tax agencies. Glenn has particular experience in the taxation of mergers and acquisitions, regulated investment companies, partnerships, joint ventures and limited liability companies. He has represented both U.S. companies and foreign companies with respect to activities in the United States and their federal, state and local tax implications.
Prior to joining the firm, Glenn spent two years as a tax specialist with the public accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand. He is a member of the American Bar Association and has been a speaker at numerous continuing legal education programs on tax matters. Glenn has been listed in the publication Best Lawyers in America� since 1990. He is a Certified Public Accountant. |
