Glenn G. Jordan is president and chief operating officer Pacific Group. The Pacific Group includes important rapidly developing markets such as the Philippines and the Southeast & West Asia Division. It also includes the South Pacific & Korea Division focusing on the Coca-Cola Amatil territories. Prior to this position he was executive vice president Coca-Cola Latin America and director of operations for the Latin America Group.
Mr. Jordan graduated as an industrial engineer at the Los Andes University and took several post graduate courses in the areas of Economics and Business Administration during 1980 and 1981. During that time he taught Marketing and Operational Research at the Los Andes University and UNITEC as well as several programs and courses during his career in Coca-Cola in the areas of Market Research Advertising Marketing Finance and Administration. He graduated from Stanford University in September 1993.
Mr. Jordan began his professional career in 1977 as an Technical Studies and Engineering Analyst and joined Coca-Cola de Colombia in March 1978. After holding different positions he was promoted to assistant regional manager in 1984 and then to regional manager of Coca-Cola de Colombia in April 1985. In April 1989 he was transferred to Atlanta to fill the position of marketing operations manager Pacific Group and in April 1990 he became vice president of Coca-Cola International and executive assistant to the Pacific Group President. In April 1991 he was transferred to Brazil as senior vice president Operations and in April 1995 he became President of the Rio de la Plata Division which comprises Argentina Uruguay and Paraguay. In November 2000 he was named president of the Latin America - South Division comprising Argentina Bolivia Chile Ecuador Paraguay Peru and Uruguay. |
