J. Glenn Custar joined Globalcom as Controller and was named Chief Financial Officer in August 2006. Glenn has many years of experience in leadership positions in accounting, finance, and controller functions. He brings a wealth of experience as a senior financial officer. Glenn started his career in the U.S. Marines, achieving the highest rank of Colonel. Subsequently, he worked for three years as a senior auditor with Arthur Andersen in Kansas City. He worked as a Controller/Director of Finance for U.S. Sprint; as Senior Manager, Revenue and Collections with MCI; as Vice President, Shared Services North America and Senior Vice President with Metropolitan Fiber (MFS); and as Controller and Chief Accounting Officer with Focal Communications. Most recently, Glenn was Controller/Chief Accounting Officer with Xspedius Communications, a facility based CLEC based in St. Louis. He holds B.S. and M.S. Degrees in Accounting as well as an M.B.A.. His wide-ranging experience includes both domestic and international assignments. |
