M. Glenn Layne brings almost 30 years of experience to his role as senior vice president and senior credit officer.During his career, Layne specialized in consumer and commercial lending at Commerce Union Bank, Murfreesboro Bank and Trust/Suntrust Bank and, most recently, Cavalry Banking.
A lifelong resident of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Layne is on the board of trustees for the Tennessee Bankers Association Southeastern School of Consumer Credit, the finance committee of the Belle-Aire Baptist Church and the allocation panel for the United Way of Rutherford County. He is also a member of the Murfreesboro Hot Rod Club and a former member and president of the Murfreesboro Downtown Lions Club.
Layne attended Middle Tennessee State University and is a graduate of the Tennessee School of Banking, the Tennessee Commercial Lending School at Vanderbilt University and the ABA National Consumer Credit School at the University of Oklahoma.
