Glenn Whittington, a resident of Texas, is a director in the Lake Oswego, office of Bates Private Capital, an LECG company, where he uses his extensive background in the retail brokerage securities industry to consult and provide expert witness testimony on financial matters.
Mr. Whittington began his career in the securities industry in 1970 with Francis I. duPont. During his 34 year career in the industry, 23 with UBS PaineWebber, he held a variety of senior management positions including associate division manager, division sales manager, district manager, regional sales manager, and branch manager. He retired in March, 2004 as a senior vice president of Wachovia Securities. Prior to joining LECG, Mr. Whittington formed NGW Consulting LLC, providing consulting and expert testimony on various financial-related matters.
Mr. Whittington has provided expert consulting on issues including account performance and analysis, asset allocation, employment issues, compliance and supervision, branch office administration and sales practices, suitability, commodities, corporate and municipal bonds, insurance products, mutual funds, options, partnerships, private placements, restricted securities, risk management, trading disputes, raiding cases, and damages. |
