Glenn R. August is the President of Oak Hill Advisors, L.P. (OHA) and supervises all investment, trading and operational activities of the firm. He co-founded each of OHA's funds and serves as the managing partner of each of their management entities. In addition, he is a Managing Partner of the advisor to Oak Hill Special Opportunities Fund, L.P., a $500 million investment partnership focused on investments in distressed companies. Mr. August was a co-founder of the predecessor entity to OHA in 1987. Mr. August previously worked in the mergers and acquisitions department at Morgan Stanley in New York and London. He earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar, and a B.S. degree from Cornell University. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of iStar Financial Inc., TeleCity Group plc, Mount Sinai Children's Center Foundation and the 92nd St. Y.
