Glenn R. Savage was named vice president general manager for the Away From Home business in October 2007. In this role, he is responsible for expanding the company's institutional products footprint through acquisitions and joint ventures.
In March 2007, Savage was named vice president general manager, Cleaning Division. In that role, he was responsible for the manufacturing and marketing of the company's U.S. laundry, home-care and professional products. Previously, he was vice president general manager, Laundry & Home Care since 2002.
Savage joined Clorox in 1983 as an associate marketing manager in Household Products, where he held positions of increasing responsibility. He was named vice president - Food Products in 1997, and became vice president - general manager, Glad� Products in 1999. In the latter role, he was responsible for the manufacturing and marketing of the company's U.S. retail plastic wraps, food storage bags and containers, and trash bags businesses.
Savage serves on the board of directors of the American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter.
A native of Fort Kent, Maine, Savage holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and philosophy from Boston University, and earned a master's degree in business administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. |
