Glenn R. Simmons, age 78, has served on our board of directors since 1986. Mr. Simmons has been vice chairman of the board of Valhi and Contran since prior to 2001. Mr. Simmons has been chairman of the board of CompX and Keystone since prior to 2001 and also serves on the board of directors of Kronos Worldwide and TIMET. In 2004, Keystone filed a voluntary petition for reorganization under federal bankruptcy laws and emerged from the bankruptcy proceedings in August 2005. Mr. Simmons has been an executive officer or director of various companies related to Valhi and Contran since 1969. He is a brother of Harold C. Simmons. |
