Glenn brings with him over 23 years of R&D experience in the data communications/networking industry and is credited with developing many industry-first ASIC, board- and systems-level products. Glenn has also earned the coveted distinction from his customers, peers, and senior management for developing first-pass products that have consistently exceeded customer expectations. Prior to joining Teak Technologies, Glenn held various senior engineering management positions at Cisco Systems where he was credited with developing the Catalyst 4500 Ethernet Switch's first QAM line-card for the Video-on-Demand (VoD) market, numerous cable headend and CPE products, the world's first DOCSIS compliant data-only and Voice over IP (VoIP) cable modems, and a business-class cable router (uBR905/925). Previously Glenn held a number of technical staff member and engineering design positions at Vitel Communications, Aspect Communications, and ROLM/IBM in signal processing, FPGA, and ASIC design for digital audio/video subsystems. Glenn holds several patents in the networking field and a MS in Electrical Engineering and BS in Computer Science, both from the University of California at Berkeley. Glenn is also a graduate of Stanford University's advanced management program. |
