Miller has more than 28 years' experience in the technology industry. He most recently served as chief technology officer at Strategic Resource Solutions (SRS) Corp., a technology-based energy services company and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Fortune 500 utility, Carolina Power and Light. Deloitte & Touche named SRS North Carolina's seventh fastest growing technology company in 1999. He developed SRS's innovative core technology, offering a web-based platform that enables organizations to control, navigate and monitor all facility operations through the Internet, as well as many other Internet-based tools and services. Prior to SRS, Mr. Miller held a senior executive position at Applied Computer Technologies, where he led the strategic vision and development of PC and Internet-based products. In 1993 ACT was named to the Inc. 500 list as one of the fastest growing technology companies in the US. In 1994, he developed the market's first Internet-based real-time workflow management software. In 1995 he was recognized by Microsoft Corp. as one of the top 20 developers in the world. |
