Gloria A. Vigliani, M.D. has served as our Vice President, Medical Strategy since June 2005. From November 2003 until June 2005, she served as Vice President, Clinical Development. Prior to joining Cubist, Dr. Vigliani was an independent consultant for various companies in drug development and registration. From 1996 to 2002, Dr. Vigliani served in a variety of positions at Biogen Corporation, including Vice President, Medical Research - Immunology/Oncology, Senior Director, Medical Research Immunology, Director of Clinical Information Management and Surveillance (CIMS), and Director of Drug Safety and Medical Information (DSMI). Prior to her tenure at Biogen, Dr. Vigliani served as Associate Director of Product Safety at Astra USA. Dr. Vigliani is board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. Prior to joining industry, Dr. Vigliani held the position of Assistant Professor of Medicine at University of Massachusetts Medical School where she practiced general Internal Medicine from 1984-1993. Dr. Vigliani received a B.S. in Biology/Biochemistry from Tufts University and an M.D. from Medical College of Pennsylvania. |
