Godfrey Paul D'Souza is a co-founder and VP of Engineering at Cswitch Corporation. Most recently, he was at Transmeta Corporation from 1995 to February of 2004, and was involved with the development and management of Crusoe and Efficeon Processors in various engineering and management positions. He held positions of Vice President of VLSI Engineering, Fellow, Director of VLSI, Director of Advanced Development, Microprocessor Development Project and Program Manager, Logic Design Manager and Member of Technical Staff. From 1993 to 1995, Godfrey was at Sun Microsystems Inc., in the capacity of Staff Engineer and Member of Technical Staff where he worked on a low power CMOS circuit technology and the early development of the UltraSparc III microprocessor. From 1989 to 1993, Godfrey was at LSI Logic Corp. and held a number of positions, most recently Senior Engineer, and worked on Sparc Microprocessor development (SparcStation 1 and 2 CPUs, Memory Management Controller, Floating Point Controller), and CoreWare technology. Mr. D'Souza holds a Bachelor of Electronics Engineering from M.S. University of Baroda and an MSEE from University of Washington, and is the inventor of 16 patents. |
