Current responsibility
Godfrey is a principal in the Boston office of Milliman. He manages the Boston Life consulting practice. He joined the firm in 1964. He is currently in London until 2007, working with the London Life consulting practice.
Experience
Godfrey specializes in life insurance. His consulting assignments include mergers and acquisitions, and mutual company reorganizations, (demutualizations, expert testimony, and financial reporting).
Godfrey began his actuarial career with Milliman in 1964 and transferred to M&R Services, the former data-processing subsidiary of (then) Milliman & Robertson at its inception in October 1968. From 1983 to February 1987, he was executive vice president and chief operating officer of M&R Services. He became a consulting actuary in 1987.

Godfrey is a member of the Actuarial Standards Board and has been involved in committee work with the Society of Actuaries and the American Academy of Actuaries.
