From 1974 to 1995, worked as project and senior geologist for INCO, Chevron Minerals and Hemlo Gold Mines, managing exploration and development programs for uranium, precious metals and base metals in Canada and the Lisheen zinc-lead-silver discovery/mine in Ireland.
Since 1993, acted as geological consultant with G.J. Walton and Associates Ltd. in the evaluation and management of mineral projects throughout North America, South America and Europe.
Has acted as Vice President for Canarc Resource Corp. since 1995 and Endeavour Silver since 2003.
Published several geological/geochemical papers in leading technical journals.
