Gopal Solanki is responsible for the worldwide operations of Magnum Semiconductor, and brings over 20 years of semiconductor general management and engineering expertise and leadership to the Company. Solanki came to Magnum in February of 2008 from NVIDIA Corporation, where he had most recently served as the senior vice president for that company's rapidly growing chipset business, which he built to a position of worldwide market prominence. During his 12 years at NVIDIA he also led the development of several successful products in that company's successful line of GPU (graphics processor unit) chips. During more than two decades in the semiconductor industry, Solanki has also held engineering and management positions at Weitek Corporation and Intel Corporation. Solanki holds a BS in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Roorkee, and an MS in computer engineering from Syracuse University, New York. |
