Mr. Stitt has served as our Chairman of the Board since October 2006. Mr. Stitt co-founded Extreme Networks in May 1996 and served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Extreme Networks Inc. from its formation until August 30 2006 and has served on our Board since formation. Prior to forming Extreme Mr. Stitt held various other positions in the networking industry. In addition to Extreme Networks Mr. Stitt has served on the Boards of Directors of private companies.
