Gordon Deans joined Adept in June 2004 as vice president of business development and general manager, Adept Canada (formerly Hexavision Technologies). Prior to joining the company, Mr. Deans was president of Telere Technologies Inc., a consulting firm providing product marketing and business development services to high-technology organizations. Before joining Telere Technologies, he served as director of marketing at FSONA Communications Corporation, a telecommunications equipment manufacturer. In addition, Mr. Deans has served as vice president of broadband networks at Norsat International Inc., a satellite communications equipment company, and in a number of management positions at Nortel Networks. Mr. Deans holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and Masters Degree in electrical engineering.
