Gordon Hoffman is managing director of Northwest Technology Ventures and an Ambric seed investor. Gordon has worked in high-tech development for most of his career, spending 15 years in the semiconductor industry and 15 years in electronic-design-automation software. He is founder or co-founder of several companies including Eagle Design Automation, Caedent Corporation, and West & Associates. He has also been with Synopsys, Viewlogic Systems, Mentor Graphics, United Technologies where he created the Microelectronics Center, Mostek, and Texas Instruments. He serves on PSU's CS/EE advisory council, and the PSU Foundation board. Gordon received his BSEE from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and his MSEE from Stanford University. |
