Dr. Gordon Mitchard has a diverse background that spans general management, technology, marketing and sales. He has worked for a range of companies, from start-ups to large corporations, developing expertise in managing high growth opportunities and transitioning products from development to international commercial deployment. For the past 14 years, Dr. Mitchard has served in sales, marketing, and general management roles for JDS Uniphase Corp. and SDL Inc., where he was responsible for businesses that provide opto-electronic components to equipment manufacturers in telecom and industrial markets. Prior to that, he held a variety of engineering and engineering management positions in the graphics industry. Dr. Mitchard holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the California Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University. |
