Gordon Tucker is a highly experienced business executive, with 30 years of senior management roles in both large multinational consumer products corporations and in startup, consumer-driven technology and Internet companies. Following brand management and worldwide marketing and operational leadership roles for Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo and Converse, Gordon served as a Director and President/CEO for three companies--a publicly traded software company, an Internet-based employment recruitment company that developed early technologies for Web-based employee/employer job matching, and a digital media company that he built into one of the largest websites in the world and later took public. Gordon also brings deep experience working with the Silicon Valley venture capital community, including acting senior management roles in venture-backed companies engaged in wireless communications (SkyTel, Inc.) and Internet search technology (Excite, Inc., where he led the Excite Studios business and helped develop and grow one of the first prominent web portals). Gordon graduated with a BBA degree from The University of Michigan's School of Business Administration, and has lectured at the Harvard, Stanford and Michigan Business Schools. He is a long-time, active member of Young Presidents' Organization and World Presidents' Organization. His passions include photography, backpacking and triathlon competition. |
