L. Grace Spencer practices exclusively in the area of professional liability and is a member of the New Jersey State Assembly.
Grace began her career as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Newark, and she served as legislative aide to the president of the Municipal Council for the City of Newark from 1998-2000. Prior to joining Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin in June 2003, Grace worked with a plaintiff's firm in Morris County, New Jersey, as an associate representing plaintiffs in personal injury actions, buyers and sellers in commercial and residential real estate transactions, and estates in probate matters. Grace also served as Special Prosecutor for the City of Newark.
Grace served as a law clerk to the Honorable Paulette Sapp-Peterson, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey from September 1996 through August 1997. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Grace graduated from Rutgers, Newark College of Arts and Sciences in 1992 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Rutgers School of Law, Newark in 1996. |
