Cox joined SonoSite in 1999. He was promoted from Vice President, Europe, Middle East and Africa to Vice President, International in 2005. Under Cox's leadership, sales in Europe, the Middle East and Africa grew from less than $3 million during his first year to approximately $35 million in 2004 and accounted for approximately 30% of SonoSite's total revenue. Mr. Cox has established direct sales subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Spain and manages over 50 distributor relationships. Involved with the ultrasound industry since 1978, Mr.Cox worked for ATL Ultrasound, now part of Philips and Acuson, now part of Siemens, prior to joining SonoSite. Based outside of London, Mr. Cox received an electronic engineer education and holds an Executive MBA from the International Management Centers Association |
