Grant Clark oversees VeriSign's operational and risk management activities and has primary responsibility for improving the company's business processes.
Mr. Clark joined VeriSign in 2007 after 13 years at SAIC, most recently serving as senior vice president, director of contracts, and chief deputy counsel. While at SAIC, he was responsible for contract law and management across multiple continents, and for corporate risk assessment and mitigation. From 1999-2004, Mr. Clark was senior vice president and general counsel of Telcordia Technologies, an SAIC subsidiary. He previously was principal legal advisor to SAIC subsidiary Network Solutions, guiding that company through the establishment of its domain name business in the commercial infancy of the Internet.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Clark was a member of the national law firm McKenna Long & Aldridge. He also served with the law firm of former U.S. Senator Birch Bayh, and was an assistant general counsel with the General Services Administration.
Mr. Clark began his career as an Air Force judge advocate and held a concurrent appointment as a special assistant U.S. attorney. Mr. Clark is a cum laude graduate of Suffolk Law School in Boston. |
