Mr. King was born in 1951 in Auckland, New Zealand. Since 1990 he has served as general manager and managing director of two major manufacturing and export companies in Bangkok, one of which was a company with 5,000 employees exporting to 140 countries worldwide. In 1995 he served for seven years as president and CEO of the division of a U.S. publicly-traded company in Thailand. He was responsible for the day-to-day operations that included planning, business development, fiscal controls, and sales and marketing. During his career in executive management, Mr. King had contact with many internationally based public companies and is well-known within the business community of several South East Asian countries |
