Greg Meland was elected chairman of the board in 2005. As chairman, Meland leads Datalink's efforts on new strategic opportunities including acquisitions and strategic partnerships. He also works with the Datalink executive team to effectively grow Datalink's business through strong customer and vendor relationships. Greg joined Datalink in 1991 as its vice president of sales and engineering. He was named chief executive officer in 1993 and served in that capacity until 2005. Prior to Datalink, Greg served in various sales and marketing positions with the Imprimis disk drive subsidiary of Control Data Corporation (which was sold to Seagate in 1989), most recently as the North Central U.S. director of sales. Greg earned a bachelor of arts degree in physiology from the University of Minnesota. |
