Greg Henson is senior vice president and director of business development of SAIC where he is responsible for developing the corporation's business and managing accounts and strategic pursuits. His focus is architecting and delivering system solutions tailored to customer needs.
Henson has a diverse business background spanning government international and commercial sectors. Prior to joining SAIC Henson served L-3 Communications as vice president of homeland security and homeland defense operations managing the corporation's homeland security and defense business interests and integrating its diverse capabilities to achieve synergy and efficiency and to advance technology initiatives.
At Harris Corporation he served as the vice president of business development for homeland security responsible for developing corporate business strategies and establishing world-class capabilities to combat global terrorism. Henson led Raytheon Company's 13-city manufacturing consolidation into a Florida business unit with 89 programs and production lines.The organization achieved ISO 9001 certification in one year and a World Class Safety rating in two years. Henson began his career with the U.S. Navy aboard a Fleet ballistic missile submarine.
Henson holds a bachelor of science in business management and has completed numerous business programs including programs at Penn State University and Chicago Graduate School of Business and with the U.S. Navy. He has served as a member of the Government Electronics Industry Association the Homeland Security Dialogue Forum and the U.S. Coast Guard Foundation board of directors. In 2001 he received the Florida State Governor's Business Executive Leadership Award. |
