Greg Joy is a 20-year industry veteran who has held a wide range of executive positions in software sales and marketing.He began his career at Borland, where over a nine-year tenure he led key roles in sales management, industry evangelism, and market development. As the Sydney-based Director for Borland Oceanic (Australia / New Zealand / Singapore), he grew revenues to $20M over a three year period. Greg was brought by Borland founder Philip Kahn to Starfish Software (acquired by Motorola), where as VP Sales he led revenue growth from $5 to $25M in personal information management and mobile application software.Greg has also held successful VP sales and marketing management positions at iOra (intranet and portal applications), Vision IT (visual communication tools for the Enterprise market, and Amplitude Software (web-based resource management applications).Greg is a United States Naval veteran, and his education background includes both California State University of Long Beach (Electrical Engineering major) and the United States Naval Academy. He is a recognized software industry spokesperson who has participated on panels in over 25 countries, and at numerous events across the US. |
