Greg Mauro, President. Greg is the co-founder and President of SmartDrive and leads corporate strategy and strategic partnerships. Greg also serves on the company�s Board of Directors representing Revolution Ventures, where he is Managing Partner. Greg is the co-founder and former CEO of Nextivity, a wireless technology company backed by Revolution Ventures, Advanced Technology Ventures and Goldman Sachs. Previously, Greg was the founding Vice President of Business Development at semiconductor companies Entropic, RF Magic, and Symwave where Revolution Ventures is also an original investor. Greg led fundraising efforts for these and other Revolution portfolio companies, personally raising over $250M in co-investment capital including investment from Intel, Cisco, Time Warner, Comcast, EchoStar, Panasonic, and Motorola. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at SmartDrive, NR2B Research, Nextivity, Starscriber and is a board observer at CombineNet. He is a Trustee at the High Tech High Foundation, a pioneering charter school in California. Greg is also Managing Partner of Revolution Community Ventures, a community development entity focused on real estate development for best-of-breed charter schools. Greg attended UCLA's College of Honors and the Andersen Graduate School of Management. |
