Greg Moore was appointed Vice President, Business Development for Maersk Line, Limited (MLL), in February 2006. He previously served as Senior Director and Head of Sales, Center Line Commercial, based in Copenhagen. He led the Maersk Sealand/Maersk Logistics global sales force integration and global area sales alignment initiatives since November 2003.Prior to his Copenhagen posting, Mr. Moore served as Vice President of Commercial Operations for Maersk Sealand, based in Houston. In 1998, he led the start up and development of the North American Customer Resource Centers in Houston, Charleston and Miami. In 2000, he directed the successful integration of the Sealand customer service and documentation functions. In 2001, Mr. Moore's responsibility expanded off shore as he directed the planning and establishment of the Global Shared Service Center in San Jose, Costa Rica.Mr. Moore joined Maersk Inc. as an account executive in Houston, Texas in 1982. Promoted to Agency Manager in 1985, Mr. Moore managed the Dallas district office for three years. In 1988, he moved to Madison managing the New Jersey Sales district and subsequently the Northeast Region. In 1990, he was promoted to Agency Director. In 1995, Mr. Moore moved to Los Angeles to serve as Director of the Pacific Southwest Region and subsequently expanded his role to include all U.S. West Coast regions.Mr. Moore is a native Texan and also lived in Asia for ten years. He is a 1981 graduate of Baylor University and a 2001 graduate of the Columbia University Senior Executive Program. Mr. Moore is married to Jill and they have two children. |
