Mr. Lindahl joined Cox in 1986, first as Vice President and General Manager of WSOC AM-FM, Charlotte, and then KLRX, Dallas, where he remained until Cox and CBS swapped stations in 1993. Following that, he managed radio stations in Portland, Oregon and for ABC in Chicago. Lindahl rejoined Cox in 1997 as President of the Cox's consumer market research firm, Eagle Research. In 1999 he was named President and Chief Operating Officer for a Cox Enterprise's joint venture mp3radio.com. Following the sale of mp3radio.com, he was appointed to his present position to launch Cox Radio Interactive. Prior to joining Cox, Mr. Lindahl served in positions as Group Programming Director for Gaylord Entertainment, Program Director for WSM AM-FM, Nashville and KOMA, Oklahoma City. He has served on the board of directors of the Country Music Association and attended the University of Minnesota. |
