Business Litigation
Greg Garcia is Of Counsel to the Firm. He has substantial litigation experience in commercial, insurance, and personal injury matters. Mr. Garcia has obtained favorable jury verdicts and represented clients at the appellate level. He is trained in the legal and business aspects of the biosciences. He is published on the subject of genetic testing or genetic diagnostics. Mr. Garcia's practice also focuses on the environmental, regulatory and liability issues associated with the bioscences and the use of nanotechnology in manufacturing.
The Governor of Arizona appointed Mr. Garcia as a Commissioner on the Arizona Biomedical Research Commission, which supports translational medical research and the State of Arizona's investment in the biosciences. He is also a member of the Arizona BioIndustry Association and the Association of University Technology Managers. He participates in the Biotechnology Committee of the Section of Science and Technology Law of the American Bar Association. Mr. Garcia is pursing a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Biotechnology and Genomics.
DISTINCTIONS
Mr. Garcia was selected as one of the Phoenix Business Journal's 2008 class of Forty-Under-40.
