Gregory A. O Hara is a Managing Director and the business valuation practice leader in the Valuation & Financial Opinions Group. He has extensive experience in the field of valuation and mergers & acquisition. His asset and business valuation experience encompasses a broad range of industries. Mr. O Hara has valued equity, debt, and derivative securities (stock options and warrants), as well as intangible assets, for a variety of purposes including: purchase and sale advisement; fairness opinions; financial and tax reporting; bankruptcy and reorganization; shareholder disputes; and other corporate, tax and litigation related matters. Among the industries Mr. O Hara has served include, but are not limited to: apparel, automotive, banks and thrifts, beverage distribution, building & construction materials, broadcasting, computer software, construction management, consumer products, education, electronic components, e-commerce, film distribution, financial services, health care, heavy manufacturing, hotels, information technology, insurance, paper products, pharmaceutical distribution, publishing, retailing, metal stamping, telecommunications, temporary staffing, tool & die manufacturing, food products and services, and wholesale distribution. Mr. O Hara has presented continuing education seminars on the subject of valuation, corporate finance, and litigation support. He has also testified as an expert witness related to valuation and economic damage issues. Prior to joining our firm, Mr. O Hara was with Price Waterhouse in its Valuation Services Group in Chicago. During his tenure with Price Waterhouse s Valuation Group, he planned, performed and supervised valuation consulting engagements for various purposes in a diverse range of industries. Preceding his experience with Price Waterhouse, Mr. O Hara was a senior financial analyst with the Keywell Corporation in Chicago. Mr. O Hara earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan and a BA in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh. Mr. O Hara has earned the chartered financial analyst designation. He is a member of the CFA Institute, the Appraisal Issues Task Force (AITF), the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, and the Turnaround Management Association. |
