Gregory G. Palmer is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Chicago office. As a member of the Tax Department, Greg assists major international companies in tax planning and tax controversy matters. His practice includes corporate organization and restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, international taxation, pass-through entities and tax accounting. He represents clients in IRS examinations, with IRS appeals, in matters before the IRS National Office, and in tax litigation. He has spoken and written on international, federal and state and local taxation. He is a licensed member of the bar in Illinois and the District of Columbia. He is also a certified public accountant (Ohio, 1980). Greg belongs to the American Bar Association and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
