Dr. Bailey's career has included the management of junior companies, finance, and medicine. After practicing emergency medicine, Dr. Bailey joined Barris Klein Laboratories, Inc. in 1986 as President and Director. The company went public in 1987. He left in 1988 to join another publicly traded biotechnology company that specialized in technology transfers from the United States, Canadian Neuromed Clinics, Ltd., as their Chief Operating Officer. Foxmeyer acquired this company three years later.
Following that, Dr. Bailey founded V. Fund Investments, a merchant bank that had its IPO in 1993. He subsequently sold control of the company and resigned as President and CEO in 1995. That same year he co�founded EuroAmerican Mercantile Corp., a London based merchant bank engaged in the business of international finance and transitioning private companies to public. In 1997 he was one of the co�founders of Alliance Medical Corp., a Phoenix based company that is the largest re�processor of surgical equipment in the United States. Dr. Bailey is currently the Chairman and co�founder of Next Game, Inc., which owns PlayLink, Inc. He was previously President and co�CEO of this online gaming company. The company recently acquired part of the online game properties of Vivendi and InfoSpace.
Most recently he has been managing director of health care at two full service investment banks, MDB Capital Group, Inc. in Santa Monica and Gilford Securities, Inc., a New York based firm. During the last fifteen years, six private companies he was involved with went public, and he has sat on the board of directors of sixteen public companies and eight private companies. |
