Gregory H. Palmer is vice president and chief financial officer for Nuclear Management Company (NMC). He leads accounting and finance, business development, marketing, and strategic planning activities.
Prior to joining NMC, Greg served as president of Viking Gas Transmission, the wholly owned gas transmission subsidiary of Northern States Power, now Xcel Energy. Prior to joining NSP in 1981, he worked for the Farm Credit System in
the areas of agricultural finance and lending.
Palmer�s career includes roles leading extensive business development activity including the acquisition and growth of Viking, the acquisition of Natro Gas, the development of the Guardian Pipeline, the development of NSP's gas marketing and sales efforts, the creation and growth of Advantage Service and the restructuring of NSP's gas supply portfolio during industry deregulation.
Palmer holds a master�s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, a bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin River Falls, and has completed the Reactor Technology Program for utility executives at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. |
