Greg joined IndexIQ from Deutsche Asset Management (DeAM), where he held a number of senior positions. Most recently, Greg was a Director and Portfolio Manager for a US large cap core equity mutual fund with approximately $6 billion in assets under management. The fund's strategy combined traditional fundamental equity research with a multi-factor quantitative model in a disciplined, risk-managed process. Prior to becoming Portfolio Manager, Greg was Head of the Equity Portfolio Analysis and Construction Team at DeAM. In this role, he supervised a team of quantitative analysts, providing investment strategy and analysis in support of various fundamental equity portfolios. Prior to joining Deutsche Asset Management, Greg was a research analyst at Prudential Securities and Goldman Sachs. Greg earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Statistics and Business Management Minor from Stony Brook University . He is a member of the NYSSA and the CFA Institute. He also is Series 7 and Series 63 certified. |
