Gregory Asaf is a director in FTI�s Corporate Finance practice and is based in Houston. Mr. Asaf has experience providing transaction advisory services to financial institutions through the performance of financial due diligence and collateral evaluation. He has worked across a variety of industries for receivable securitizations and asset-backed loan syndications. He also has extensive experience providing bankruptcy services to debtors, creditors and trustees regarding restructurings, bankruptcies and liquidations.
Mr. Asaf�s engagements have encompassed the energy and trading, automotive parts distribution, petroleum refining, pulp and paper, consumer goods, commercial transportation and information technology services industries. Previous clients include Dresser, Inc.; Enron Corp.; Premcor Refining Group, Inc.; JPMorgan Chase; Deutsche Bank and GMAC.
Mr. Asaf has been responsible for advising clients with respect to target companies� recurring cash flows (quality of earnings), financial forecasts, quality of assets and financial statement carve-outs. His experience also includes on-site management of debtor operations, preparation of financial statement and cash flow projections, amendments and new credit agreements, maintenance of corporate and trust books and records, preparation of financial reports filed with the court and development of debtor cash management and reporting systems.
Prior to joining FTI, Mr. Asaf spent five years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Financial Advisory Services group.
Mr. Asaf holds a M.S. in finance from Texas A&M University and a B.S. in finance from Lehigh University. Mr. Asaf is a certified public accountant in the state of Texas and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Turnaround Management Association and the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors. |
