Gretchen W. McClain was appointed President of ITT's Fluid Technology business and elected a Vice President of ITT in April 2007. In this role, McClain is responsible for the management of the company�s global fluid technology business, which engineers and manufactures advanced water treatment and filtration solutions and products used in the transport of water and wastewater. McClain also serves on the company�s Strategic Council.
McClain joined ITT in September 2005 as the President of ITT�s Residential & Commercial Water business. Before joining ITT, McClain was a division Vice President/GM at Honeywell Aerospace.
Earlier, McClain spent nine years with the National Administration and Space Agency and served as Deputy Associate Administrator for Space Development where she oversaw the successful development and launch of the International Space Station Program. McClain also spent several years as a structures/dynamics engineer in the commercial aerospace industry. She has received numerous leadership and service awards during her career, as well as recognition and board positions on various professional, civic and educational organizations.
McClain is a graduate of the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. |
