BACKGROUND: Grier obtained his B.S. (1969) and J.D. (1975) from the University of Florida. While in law school, Grier was a member of the University of Florida Law Review, Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity and served as a member and President of the Council of Ten, a law school leadership organization. Grier concentrates his practice in the areas of Alternative Dispute Resolution, Commercial Litigation, Construction Litigation, Employment Litigation and Insurance Defense. He enjoys an "AV" rating, the highest available from Martindale Hubbell. Grier is active in The Florida Bar, serving on the Board of Governors, and is a past president of the Jacksonville Bar Association. He is also a charter member and current President of the Jacksonville Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
