Prior to that, from 1973, Mr. Gromakov worked at various enterprises of the industrial military complex in the telecommunications field.
He has got a number of state awards in science and technology. He is also a members of governing bodies of 3G Association, Russian GSM Associasion, he was elected Vice-President of the Russian National Radio Association. Mr. Gromakov is also a member of the International Academy of network and International Academy of Information Science, processes and technologies.
Yury Gromakov was born in 1946.
