Ms. Bernstein's practice includes the representation of lenders and borrowers in secured and unsecured transactions, structured finance transactions and multistate transactions, with a focus on the representation of lenders in transactions secured primarily by real estate.Representative Transactions:Represent the lender in the origination of a mortgage loan and multiple mezzanine loans involving more than 80 multifamily apartment complexes in multiple states.Represent both lenders and borrowers in construction loans involving hotels, shopping centers and other commercial properties, including resort properties both inside and outside of the United States.Represent lenders in the origination, sale and participation of mortgage and mezzanine loans.Prior To Maynard Cooper:Ms. Bernstein worked as a real estate associate in the New York office of Sidley Austin LLP. |
