As a senior associate in the litigation practice group for Cooley Godward LLP of San Diego, Calif., Gil practices general business litigation with an emphasis on complex business and mass tort class action litigation, unfair competition, and business litigation for technology companies.His legal experience also includes tenure with Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP of San Diego.Gil has served as a volunteer wish granter and board chair for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of San Diego and was appointed to the National Board in September 2004. His professional and community activities have also included serving on the City of San Diego Ethics Commission; as chair for the San Diego Police Department Use of Force Task Force; president and board member for the San Diego Master Chorale; and member of the San Diego County Bar Association.Gil holds a bachelor of arts in political science from California State University at Fullerton, and a juris doctorate from Boston College Law School.Gil and his wife live in San Diego, Calif. |
