Gwen Wade has responsibility for all of SBGi�s training development and is their leading industry consultant. Ms. Wade has over 25 years of managerial experience in Quality Assurance in companies including computer and computer peripherals, disc drives, hybrid microchips, semiconductor equipment manufacturing, defense electronics, microwave devices and precision sheet metal fabrication.
Ms. Wade is an accomplished trainer and facilitator with extensive experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 13485 implementation, awareness and internal auditor training, SPC, TQM, problem solving and team building. Ms. Wade co-authored the international standard QC 080000 IECQ HSPM, hazardous substance process management for the electronics and electrical industries, developed and is the lead trainer for QC 080000 IECQ HSPM Lead Assessor training.
Ms. Wade earned a BS degree in Business Management from New Hampshire College. She is a graduate of Phillip Crosby Associates Quality Management College and is a certified facilitator in the Quality Improvement Process, Quality Education System, Problem Solving and SPC. She has also attended numerous seminars taught by W. Edwards Deming while he was a consultant to a disc manufacture and she was instrumental in the formation of Deming Study Groups as a result of these seminars.
Ms. Wade is a RAB/QSA certified ISO 9001 Lead Assessor, QMS QC 080000 IECQ HSPM Lead Assessor, and ISO IEC 17025 Assessor. She is a senior member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and served as Santa Clara Valley Chairperson 1989 -1990 and a section board member serving from 1984 - 2000. She was instrumental in establishing and sponsoring the student chapter of ASQ at San Jose State University. Ms. Wade has many years of volunteer service with the Monterey Bay and Santa Clara Girl Scout Councils as a trainer and neighborhood chairperson and the San Lorenzo Valley School district. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Bonny Doon Fire and Rescue. |
