Gwen Chermak joined CCS in March of 2005. Mrs. Chermak brings over 19 years of manufacturing experience to CCS. Prior to joining CCS, she was the Business Development Manager for Moog Components Group, a motion company with related design and manufacturing capabilities for optical components, fiber optics and electronic systems. Mrs. Chermak was responsible for major military and defense accounts covering the United States.
Her roots in manufacturing began at Litton Poly-Scientific where she spent 11 years in many roles throughout operations with longest service as Process Engineering Manager responsible for Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering and Tool Design. During her tenure she lead efforts in establishing production lines and quality processes in offshore production facilities and managing operations among all facilities. She shares a patent for developing an innovative product line for a medical industry application.
Mrs. Chermak also spent three and a half years with Agilent Technologies as New Product Program Manager, managing all phases of ASIC development life cycle from engineering through prototyping and production. In this capacity she managed suppliers and manufacturing partners spanning the globe, coordinating all aspects of project management and customer expectations to bring to fruition state of the art devices for leading edge applications.
Mrs. Chermak holds both a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and M.B.A. from Virginia Tech. |
