H. B. Hander is counsel to the firm in its Real Estate Department. He concentrates his practice in leasing, financing, portfolio acquisition, limited liability company and real estate investment trust matters, with a special emphasis on office, industrial and retail leasing. He is the author of Cross-Collateralization and Piggyback Mortgages, 21 New York State Bar Association, Real Property Law Section Newsletter No. 3 (Summer, 1993), The Siren Exception: A Nightmare for Property Owners, 6 Probate & Property No. 3 (May/June 1992), 1990 Superfund Reauthorization: Cleaning Up Our Act to Clean Up the Environment, 5 Probate & Property No. 2 (March/April 1991), and Contract Provisions Involving Environmental and Energy Matters, 2 ALI-ABA Journal No. 3 (1977). A graduate of Harvard University (1965), Mr. Hander earned his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (1968). He clerked for the Honorable Ervin R. Fulop of the Superior Court of New Jersey. Mr. Hander is a member of the American Bar Association and its section on Real Property, Probate and Trust Law, and the New York State Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York. |
