Hany A. Shawky is Professor of Finance at the School of Business at the University at Albany, where he has served as Chairman of the Finance Department and teaches corporate finance, investment analysis and portfolio management at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Professor Shawky also is the Founding Director of the Center for Institutional Investment Management at Albany, where he is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Center with respect to research, outreach activities and other initiatives of the Center. He is widely published on issues dealing with asset pricing, stock market behavior and international financial markets. He has served as a consultant to many private and public organizations and has regularly participated in executive training programs for bankers and other corporate executives. He served on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of the Academy of Business Administration and the Journal of Ekonomski Anali, University of Belgrade. Professor Shawky received his Ph.D. degree in finance in 1978 from the Ohio State University. |
