Harold H. Goings, a partner with Spain & Gillon, concentrates his practice in real estate law, and, in particular, in closing commercial and residential real estate transactions. In addition to an active real estate transaction practice, Mr. Goings conducts a substantial foreclosure practice throughout the state of Alabama which also includes creditor bankruptcy representation. He was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 1972 and has been actively engaged in the practice of law since 1972. Mr. Goings is a native and full-time resident of Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated from the University of Alabama in 1968 and received his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law in 1971. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Alabama Bar Association, Birmingham Bar Association and the American Academy of Mortgage Attorneys. He is a frequent speaker on real estate law issues at seminars given by the ABICLE and various other continuing legal education programs. He serves on several local boards of directors, including Carraway Methodist Health Systems, the Downtown YMCA and the Birmingham Historical Society. |
