Harold Jiggs LeMieux brings more than 25 years of banking and mortgage lending experience to Legacy Bank. Having worked at some of the countrys largest financial institutions including Western Savings and Loan, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America, he has a diverse background in Loan Origination, Processing and Closing Operations, Underwriting, and Sales and Operations Management.
Jiggs is a military brat born in Germany, and has had the opportunity to live in diverse places during his youth and into adulthood. He has lived in Germany, Korea, France, and Belgium, and has visited several other countries throughout Europe and Southeast Asia. Being on the move so much has given him experience and exposure to different peoples and cultures that many will never have; but has also given him a true sense of the importance of family and in establishing roots and becoming an active part of the community. He is active in his church serving in many lay positions over the years, and also works with youth groups and the Boy Scouts of America.
Jiggs and his wife Jill have been married almost 30 years and have lived in Tempe since moving to the Valley in 1983. They have raised five children, the last two still living at home and attending local schools. The other three are on their own and establishing families and careers with two of them being married. They became first time grandparents in September of 2007, and this now occupies much of their spare time.
Because bigger is not necessarily better, he has always enjoyed working with institutions that offer more personalized and customer oriented service. That is why Legacy Bank is such a good fit; everyone truly cares about their clients and how to best serve them.
He sums up his philosophy of what he does for a career by saying, The financing of a home is the largest and most important investment that many people make throughout their lives. It takes time and effort to ensure that our customers are in the correct loan program to fit their current and future financial plans and needs, and are at ease and informed throughout the lending process. Its not just a home were financing; its the place where their families grow, live, love, and learn together; and where lifetime memories are created |
